Personal & Fannish Mix
I'm feeling tons better today. I did great in my private dance lesson...you know for some reason when I say that I want to break out in "Private dancer, dancer for money" it's the Buffista Porny influence. I'm getting closer to testing out of this level. YAY. According to my instructor I know all the steps, it's just a matter of getting the technique down. Well, I mess up the cuban walk. And I forgot what my homework was. I'll have to ask him after group class tonight.
The hardest thing is counting the beats in songs and trying to stay on time. oh! I have to practice stuff in cha cha and merenge and waltz. You know waltz looks easy, but it's not, the technique is a killer, it's all about muscle control and balance.
I'm making progress on my room as well and feeling better about that.
And in fannish news. I am getting closer to figuring out how to make my Firefly idea humorous and instead of sounding like really earnest Badfic. Althoug it might be interesting to try for the really earnest Badfic. AAlso I want to write up my Angel dialouge as more of a story "As the Apocalypse Turns". Maybe I'll work on that on the plane on Monday. I was thinking of printing out a bunch of fanfic to read while I was gone, but I really don't want to explain that if it gets found so I'm going to take books I'm half way through.
I'm still freaking out a bit at not having computer access for 7 1/2 days. I figure I can check my mail a few times.
Also, I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch Buffy on Tuesday so I'll have to email someone. Or jump on Livejournal and try to findout.
