Now that I'm past my squeeing fangirl moment. ..
This episode did nothing for me except the Dru bits. Some of Gunn's lines. And, oh yeah, LINDSEY!!!!!
I figured that Angel or Spike weren't going to Shanshu and so I kept wondering what the catch was. The fight bored me, I kept flipping over to Good Eats.
Eve annoys the crap out of me. Anyone would be good in this! I would be good in this role! I bet KK would be good in this role....maybe Eve can need plastic surgery and they can bring in an actress who can act.
I love Lindsey. My god do I love Lindsey. I loved Lindsey and Lilah becuase they had chemistry. Verbal chemistry, non verbal chemistry. Those two had it. The scene in the office of W&H, when they first reveal they want her to kill Angel and they admire her beating the other lawyer's face in---beautiful!
And now we have Eve. She has great lines. Crappy delivery. Great lines.
Back to the episode.
When I heard "It's Mountain Dew" I wanted to know what was up, okay they'd go back to W&H and figure out that...
and then everyone just wakes up.
I wanted to throw something it felt like the biggest cheat ever. So...the point was....??? And I felt like that until all the way when Eve was at her apartment, I was like "okay, stuff on the walls. She's talking to someone.thing...."
And then it was Lindsey and I screamed. A lot. And while the fact Lindsey is playing puppet master with Angel is great...I still felt that over all the episode was just a big waste, that it was mostly just a way to cram in more back story about Angel and Spike for the new comers without having talking heads.
