Some deadwood thoughts -- lj cut just in case.

Prospector man why'd you go up and Al's henchman who murdered the social worker from Judging Amy that you saw him. He didn't see you! And now Al's henchman will be conflicted over whether or not to tell Al, let you leave, or kill you himself.

I'm wondering why the Bella Union people told Doc that they guy hurt his back. Was that some kind of code for "we think he might have small pox but don't want to say." And was Doc's "well if pusuales start to form" code for "Damn straight he has small pox, but you're paying me $150 to check out your whores so I'll keep quiet!"

I half expected Alma to go and lick the landnum off the wall. Now she has to get it from the doc again or if go to Slimy Al for some help. Although it looks like Al sends Trixie her way to be friends (run away from Trixie!). I feel bad for Trixie, she can't escape over to Bella Union because Al would kill her and I don't think they'd taker her.

omigod Bullock with his shirt off is so hot! He really needs to work shirtless more.

I know how Wild Bill dies, I've been reading nonfiction about the west since I was in high school and reading fiction and watching westerns since...well the beginning of time it seems like...so I've read varous accounts. I knew he was shot in the back when he sat with his back to the door rather than with his back to the wall, so I've been watching for that to happen and I didn't get to see enough of Bill. Keith Carridine did a fantastic job and it's a shame he's gone so soon.

And what was up with the guy riding into town with the head? It just made no sense in the context of the episode, unless it was supposed to be for the reward that Al put up -- and even then it just looked jarring and awkward.

Is there any good Dead wood fic out there?
