Attend the tale --
of Sweeney Todd!
I don't go out to see live shows much and this afternoon I realized I'm a dummy. Sweeney Todd was amazing! There was one slight issue, the actress playing Mrs. Lovett has been sick and her voice was kind of off and then after the intermission she suddenly had a different voice (which turned out to be someone doing a voice over), after the applause she called out the girl doing the voice over. I think because of this they didn't do By the Sea. So the second half seemed slightly rushed.
However, she was really good as Mrs. Lovett, she totally made me forget Angela Lansbury. Everyone was really good and I had a great time. The guy playing Anthony had a very nice voice as well.
I bought the tickets online and had never been to the theater before, but the seats were great much closer to the stage than I thought (but not too close).
Next month they are putting on The Philadelphia Story and I'll definitely go see that.
Now I just need to find my keys and figure out what happened to my debit card, I need to get cash so I can pay for my Girl Scout Cookies.
Oh! Plus I came home and found Tampa leading the Pens. Although the Pens scored right after I started watching but it's been an exciting game with lots almost goals --lots of pucks off posts and the play by play guy is all excited.
