I'm tired. Why could I possibly be tired? I went from walking a decent amount to walking an insane amount at work---I'm doing about 30,000 + steps a day since moving to Buy online Pick up In Store (BOPIS) Picking person. I'm in the group text thing now as well. It feels all official

Also there's been more stress as people are trying to figure out things and we are realizing that we don't have staffing coverage. Today and tomorrow almost all the people working in BOPIS are off. Because most of us weren't scheduled for BOPIS when the schedule was made. I did notice the schedule was taken down so adjustments are being made. And there is the stress of trying to find things in the ever dwindling number of merchandise for some things. Like some areas look really picked over and some are super full and I can't even figure out the logic on most of it. And we have tons of new brands we are carrying since a lot of the ones we were carrying wanted us to order the same amount this year as last. (this has been happening since spring/summer).

AND we are now getting spring/summer items in but also winter items in. I don't get it but I guess we are being sent what we have.

I have way more customer interaction than I did picking fulfillment, not sure why. But it's getting tiring having to deal with customers who want to pay me for items instead of finding a checckout or wait in line. Or have them say it's so "sad" to see our store failing. It's not failing! Most of the items are going out the door we just don't have as much as last year so we won't have as much clearance.

The big focus is on BOPIS. And yesterday when I got in I got a call and was asked to pull a ship to home list, which I thought was odd becaue there wasn't that many items in the queue compared to the number of people we had. But I worked on my list and I could see there were questions about aging orders for BOPIS so I was tryign to get through everything as fast as I could.

Then the person who asked me to pull for ship to home found me and was like "you're going to hate me" and said when I finished I needed to switch over to BOPIS "Nick (the store manager) and I had a talk about it". I did not hate her, I was glad.

THEN Nick sends out this long text about how BOPIS is our #1 priority and most of our resources are to focus on that.

sooo.. that's how that went.
