Collected Thoughts

Life is dull. I'm completely blocked and can't write and my computer just did this funky thing and almost shut off, it didn't, but my stereo did. I have no idea if anything else was affected (stereo and computer share the outlet and the lights are out).

Due to Shrift I've been sucked into reading Sentinel fic and Due South fic. I've seen 1/2 an episode of Sentinel, I think, and now I'm mentally kicking myself for not watching more. I watched Due South for awhile and then stopped for some reason, in one of my weird non tv times I think. I go through these times when I would just stop watching tv, I really, really don't watch that much. Currently I watch Buffy, Angel, CSI, Smallville and that's it, occasionally ER when I can remember. Although I'm going to start watching Farscape again and Witchblade. Which means I'm about to be sucked into Farscape fic. Right now it's taunting me on Polyamorous Recs--READ ME! Oh! and I add Hard Core Logo to Netflix, so I'm sure after I watch *that* I'll start reading HCL slash. You know I'm surprised I don't read Velvet Goldmine Slash. God, this is a slippery slope.

And it all started with Highlander, the first slash story I eve read was Highlander, I was squicked at first. Wha??? Two guys having sex, why would I want to read this? Then I found a story I liked and my attitude changed Oh! Man! This is HOT!! Gotta read more! But I don't read Highlander anymore. And I got rid of all my Highlander tapes a month or so ago, I'm sort of kicking myself but the tapes were bad quality, and really, honestly, I hadn't watched them in YEARS and they were taking up drawer space. It's bad enough I'm going to be taping Farscape because I'm not home on Friday nights and I tape Smallville and Buffy. I want to get my hands on Sentinel and Due South episodes but I lack money so that will just have to wait.

Next thing you know I'll get over my LoTR slash squick and be reading that.
