Football!!!

I love football. I love watching Pro Football, even when I'm not a fan of the team. I'm a fan of two teams: the Bucs and the Raiders.

I just finished watching the Raiders shut out the Chiefs. God, what a game.

My favorite type of football? When it's played in the elements and bad weather. Snow. Pouring rain. Fog. The Raiders and the Chiefs played in pouring rain, standing water, a muddy field. They hydroplaned, they skidded, the ball slipped loose. Some Chief player made a mud angel after the end of the game.

A Raider dumped a cup of mud in some assistant coach's pocket, and through the joys of live tv you heard the coach say: "You mother fucker."

But besides that, you see good athletics. Catches made when you think they aren't going to be, guys you can keep their feet under them and keep running.

It's much more interesting and more fun to watch.

And the Raiders shut out the Chiefs. YAY!!!

I *saw* that!!!! I nearly hurt myself laughing.

I let out a loud bark of laughter, which woke up Dad. (I thought he was awake at the time). He wanted to know what was so funny, so I gave him the condensed version & left out the "motherfucker".

Of course now I just let out my own cry. I reached for my full can of diet coke and sent it spinning off the desk and spewing every where. Except it missed my computer and the printer. Thank god for small miracles.
