So one of the two people I really can't stand on the Pheonix Board wants to change their user name. As if this will make a difference. Of course now I'm afraid I won't recognize this person...although I think I'll recognize the style. dumbass belligerence. I wish that everyone else would just ignore this person. Don't respond! And for the love of god don't COMM.

I stopped following the Bureaucracy discussion, so I didn't know this, but I think the best thing to do is to just Doblerize. Serenity Now! Don't let him get to you. You'll know who he is whatever he calls himself, and it doesn't really change anything, certainly no more than when you changed your name.

Honestly, once you get to know him, he's not so bad. And I'm not just saying that because we have the same favourite movie.

I suspect a Usenet background (and that would, assuming I'm correct, make him one of the saner usenet peeps, cause usenet=SCARY), but he's making an effort to adjust to our quirky style, which is a good thing.

I gotta admit, I mind him when he posts in Bureaucracy, because he does come off reasonably well when he's being serious. But his posting style in the show threads just reminds me of why I don't hang out on other boards. Chilling now.

Yeah, see, that's why I feel bad--sometimes, I'm like "OK, fine, makes sense, not horrid, etc". But then sometimes, want to smack.

I'm kind of stuck, now, ridiculously, on disliking him on principle. But I have, you know, extenuating John issues.
