I totally scored at the library today--they had Season 2 Vol 3 and 5 of Stargate which means by the end of the week I'll have seen all of Season 2.

I don't know when I'll get a chance to see Season 1.

I was lucky as well because right after I picked them up and started looking at cds (which I couldn't check out anyway because I have my limit) I see a kid looking through the bin and telling his Dad "But they had Stargate right here!"

The rule of getting dvds at the library ESPECIALLY on the weekends is if you see and you want it pick it up and don't let go of it!

Also when I went back for another check to see if I'd missed anything good I found Red Dwarf Season 2! Red Dwarf!! I hope I'll be able to renew it becuase I'm sure I'll need to.

Once again I have to say I love my library. They have all kinds of cool series, I keep finding things there. Too bad I'm not into old horror classics because they are always there.

I'm getting better at figuring out what's going on with Stargate and getting a better handle on the characters. I wish I had watched the body switching episode again but it's going to be on Sci Fi Monday so I'll have it on tape. I thought Christopher Judge did an amazing job playing O'Neill in Teal'c's body. Unfortunately RDA didn't do that great of a job as Teal'c in O'Neill's body---I always felt like it was O'Neill playing Teal'c except for the scenes where they were doing the meditation and the hair shaving thing.

I couldn't really place it but I think it's because RDA stayed too still. I mean, I'm no expert on Stargate by a long shot but Teal'c makes a lot of smaller body movements plus RDA had a kind of vacant look in his eyes. Like when he was taken over by the alien intelligence.

I really liked Bane, much better than the Tuk'Ra episodes. Especially the end where Teal'c gives the girl the improved water blaster and tells Daniel "How else would she defend herself." And then he put on the sunglasses!

I'm not sure why Tuk'Ra 1 & 2 didn't move me. Maybe because I don't know that much about Carter, not that I know that much about Teal'c either but in Bane it was just Teal'c and with Carter it was all about her relationship with her father.

Also the Jolinar and what's his name storyline kept reminding me of a storyline that Deep Space Nine did with the Trill. Also I was kind of hoping that the Tuk'Ra love thing would be gender non specific but that's just my wishful thinking.

Last night I went to Relay for Life with my friend D, the one I was out of touch with and finally got back in touch with. This is the first time I've seen her in almost two years. And we were talking about CSI--it's one of her favorite shows---and we were talking about Grissom and Sara and also I was spouting my theory about the flirting going on between Warrick and Cat. She said she'd noticed it too and said something about how Stokes was really hot and it's too bad he didn't have a love interest.

I had to bite my tongue from saying "Greg and Nicky! Have you seen them bicker? It's flirting!"

I really wish I had friends In Real Life who were fandom/slash friendly it would make my life easier.

With E when we talk about Angel I have to curb what I say about Angel and Lindsey (when we talk about them) and also Wes and Gunn. And well Wes and Angel. It's hard because gah! Subtext! gah! attraction! Gah! I don't know what she or D would think I don't want to make them uncomfortable.
