I'm an idiot. I totally forgot about my shrink appt last month and didn't realize I had no refills on my meds until today.

I called and the voice mail which explained that if you miss an appt and need refills you have to go into the office between 3-4 and make a request. So that's what I'll do and try to get an appt.

After this I'm going to ask if I can just see my shrink every 6 mths or something. I'm doing fine, the medication at the current level works and going in every three months is a pain.

I think legally they have to see you every 3 months if they're going to continue to prescribe drugs.

At least, that's the way it is with my shrink. It could be a state law or something.

That sucks, it's such a waste of time and money to go in and see my shrink for all of 15 mins while he says I'm fine and here's another set of refills.

I end up waiting for over a half hour usually just to see him! And I couldn't get over there to day because of stupid traffic and construction so I gotta go in tomorrow.
