Collected Thoughts

I'm at mom's. The cat peed on something, which I touched because I could smell cat pee on the back of my hnad(I did wash my hand). But I can't figure out what I touched. I've gone around smelling everything and there are no tell tell spots on anything. This is going to drive me batshit until I figure out what I touched. It was just the back of my hand too.

The good thing is he's been using the litter box, the bad thing is I don't know where the litter is. I called and left a message on my grandmother's machine, hopefully she'll call me back.

Last night I watched the first half of the first part of the Stargate Finale. So . I only got up to the part where Carter comes over for a beer and then my computer freaked out and I shut it down for the night. Or maybe it was the night before. Or maybe that was Monday night. Anyway.

Jack agreeing to a mission because he got shaving cream on his cell phone and was too busy cleaning it off to pay attention seemed like him. Plus he didn't really seem to be trying too hard to cover his ignorance in the meeting. "Why did you say that?" Daniel and Sam going for the science/knowledge reasons and Jack agreeing when it comes down to the basic military reason.

I hate the vice president. Kinnsey? Is that his name? Wormtongue. I think that's what he should be called now. Anyway. The actress who plays Weir has a pretty strong Canadian accent, it kept throwing me that she was supposed to be an American but...I know it's filmed in Canada with a large Canadian cast and I'm probably being picky. But her accent seems strong than anyone on the regular cast.

The president got points from me for his "It's not a joke" Note. But minus points for sending VP Wormtongue. We don't likes him. Esp his threat to Weir before she left. I don't like idea of a civilian being in charge of SG1. Unless it was Daniel maybe but he's not really a civilian. Although SG1 NEEDS someone with good negotation skills, they've had trouble wih that before.

Jack letting his brain get highjacked, I heard about that and of course he'd do that. Daniel wanting to do that also....Daniel you can't !!! They need your brain! And who else is going to do it but the man in charge?

Who is it that believes in Jack/Teal'c because---that colored my veiwing of the look Teal'c gave Jack and I so so so want to read good Jack/Teal'c fic. Anyone got recommendations?

Again, praise for the matter of fact way everyone dealt with Jack having the knowledge. He knew what was going to happen when he let that thing take over his brain and why should he stay locked in the mountain when he has a few days left. Carter's reasoning for stopping by..."in my car." Doesnt' she have a motorcycle? Or maybe both I guess. She can't come out and say "I wanted to see & hang out before your mind goes and you die."

and that's where the episode ended for me. I'm going to watch the rest later but not right now. I'm at Mom's and I probably should have brought over the 2 hockey games I missed but I have other stuff to watch.

Tampa Bay finally won last night.

They just smashed through the Leafs. My god was it a good game. 7-2. That's right SEVEN points for Tampa Bay. And they kicked out of their losing streak. ANd thank god. For the final 5 regulation games are at home and they need to win these. John Grahame was the goal tender but I like Khabibulin better. He doesn't give me heart attacks by moving to play the puck when there are players right near the net. The Leafs should have scored once because Grahame got stuck behind the net trying to play the puck and a Leaf guy got the puck and made a shot but the puck went too far wide or something and totally missed the net.

It was a great game to watch--very fast, lots of really incredible plays around the goals---saves, goals, rebound chances.
