Collected Thoughts

I've been downloading as many of the vids that were shown at Vividcon that I didn't have before. Mostly I've been able to watch all of them.

Except I'm having a huge problem with divx. The only vid I'm able to see is Mountain and Duende. Elevation and Drop Dead Gorgeous are just garbled visuals but I can hear the music. It doesn't make sense and I can't seem to make it work. I downloaded the divx player. I thought I had the right codecs but...argh!!!

I'm laying all the blame on my computer.

dcjensen is awesome!! He helped me solve my divx issues.

Of course that meant downloading yet another media player but I can see the vids! Without the flicker at every edit! astolat's Jig of Life is a great vid, really wonderful Witchblade vid, but nearly blinding when it played with a kind of flicker on every edit.

The media player is vidoelan it's a free open source program. It says it will play any format. Except I don't get audio when I play quicktime files. But it solved my divx problem so YAY!
