Collected Thoughts

I  spent most of the day yesterday hanging out at Mom's it was kind of like a vacation. I realized how nice it was to sit on the couch and use my laptop so Iv'e bene doing that today.

Well laying in bed for some of the day ,but the screen is small and the LCD monitor is better. I digress.

So I wasnt' going to go over to Mom's to check on her cat today because I knew he  had food and water. But then I decided to anyway and it's a good thing I did!

He wasn't in any of his usual spots and finally I heard sad meow and he was at the top of the stairs. He looked fine but his tag looked odd and then I realized somehow he'd gotten his collar jammed in his mouth. Poor thing had drool all in his fur and I managed to slid the collar out of his mouth and get a quick look and he rubbed a corner raw and there was a bit of blood but not much. So I got him some fresh watewr with ice (his favorite) and then got a can of cat food and mashed  it up really good and put that down and he at the whole thing.  I called Mom but she said to wait and check on him tomorrow before I call the vet.  I tried to pet him but he just ran and hid.

I did get the collar off of him andit was soaking wet. Poor little thing!

He won't be going outside again until Mom gets home and she can figure out about his collar.
