askye at 11:07am on 15/02/2004I'm all hockey! hockey! Hockey! Again. Watched the Rangers/Flyers game (well when dad wasn't taking up my time) disappointed when I realized they'd swtiched to Colorado, I wanted to see the end of the Flyers game.
However at 7:30 the Bolts played and I was happy. They beat the Panthers and made another short handed goal. Whee.
A few days ago The Complete Idiot's Guide to Hockey came in from the library and...while it's an interesting book about the history of hockey there's about 1 chapter on the rules. Most of which I knew when I started watching or figured out while I was watching. While knowing the history of the game is interesting I'd like to know more about the mechanics of the game.
And I'm still confused about certain penalities are dealt with. So I'm going to try Hockey for Dummies.
