Today I almost went to the comic book store that's on the way home but then I rememberd that tomorrow is Wednesday so I'll stop by tomorrow.
Tampa Bay rocks!! They could have played better last night but they did really well considering Fedotenko was out from injuries that happened when he was checked into the boards and Kubina was out from an injury due to a elbow in the head.
Brad Richards got the first and only goal, making it his 7 game winning goal in the playoffs and he's now the record holder!! Go Richie! Khabibulin played exceptionally well. And Vinnie was doing great until he was slammed into the boards head first by Nemminin (I totally spelled that wrong). According to the St. Pete Times the gash on his head was deep enough to show bone, he needed 10 stitches and he was dizzy from the blow.
And Daryl Suttor bitched about how the hit shouldn't have been a 5 minute penalty that it was just a 2 minute penalty. Ignila yelled from the bench at Vinnie 'cause he thought Vinnie was diving and even after hearing that it was serious said he didn't think it should have been a 5 minute penalty.
Which makes me wonder what kind of injury a player should sustain in order for a 5 minute and a game misconduct to be called?
This weekend I saw Hildago and Starsky and Hutch.
Hildago was very pretty to look at -- the scenery and Viggo. As far as being a drama, it was okay, the pretty horses, scenery, and ass kicking helped it.
I laughed my ass off at Starsky & Hutch. I kept thinking "oh my god they are so gay!!!!" I did have some questions about what the characterization was like in the series---but I have no desire to actually watch the series. I liked the movie and if there was a sequel I'd go see it but the actual characters do nothing for me.
I got my pictures developed and I need to get off my ass and put them online. They didn't really turn out because the stupid cheap ass disposable had to have the flash turned on every single time (and I didn't). Maybe if I had Photoshop I could fix some of the pictures, but I don't. Heck, my computer doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for the lastest verison of Photoshop.
Plus I have various things that need to go out in the mail.
