askye at 08:35pm on 29/06/2004I went to the beach this weekend. I got to see my second cousin's new little baby and he's so CUTE!!! And he totally looks like his dad (my cousin). I also got to see another cousin. A, she's really really sweet and kind of shy and I haven't talked to her since last year. She's 16 and going into the 11th grade and she plans to go to the state university to study fashion design. Her father is a Southern Baptist preacher, he's also very nice, but very devout and firm in what he believes. Now, his brother is the Southern Baptist preacher relative I have that I don't like. He's mean spirited and says hateful things about people around him and also people in general and I've had to hear racist trash from both him and his wife before and I hate it. A's dad isn't like that.
At one point A and I took a walk and I explained that if I ducked out of dinner or left when political talk came So Friday I went to the doctor's office because I thought I might have a really really bad UTI or a kidney infection, except I didn't have a fever, but a pain in my side. The test they did at the office said I was fine but she sent it out anyway to double check. And since there's a pain and nothign to show for it I got a CT to see if I might have a kidney stone forming plus an order for blood work.
I got the blood work done today I'm still waiting to hear something from the Friday visit and I'm not sure when I'll have the results from the scan. I was hoping to find out how much I weigh but the scale in the doctor's office put my weight at about 20 lbs lower than what the grocery store scale weighs me. I'm trying to find a more accurate, third source. My blood pressure is good and the blood work will have a cholesterol level, I'm hoping that comes back okay.
My weekend was good. Work so far has sucked. I spent most of the afternoon listening to crappy hold music while calling way too many business looking for a discontinued product. I would have been happy after calling 5 or 6, but my supervisor wanted more so I ended up calling roughly 20 places, I gave her a list of where I called. Hopefully she won't ask for me to call more.
