Quick update

I'm at work right. When I get home I plan on answering everyone who has asked the LJ buddies meme.

And I'm asking it here...
Part of being on Livejournal.com is inevitably gaining a number of LJ buddies. Unfortunately, as time wears on, it's easy to forget where all of them came from. Post this in your journal and have your friends respond with how they recall first 'meeting' you.

Also --- I'm officially a student again! I'm enrolled in Argument and Persuasion, Tuesdays 6-8:45.

I'll probably start resenting have one class that long but there really wasn't any other option. Well, okay there were other options, but this was the best one for me to do GPA repair AND get a core class out of the way.

First on B.org, then in DC!

You are one of the first Buffistas I met in person. Anne being the first.

Hee! Of course, through Buffistas for lo these many years! And then I got to meet you in person just last May, when you knocked on my hotel door and announced yourself by your real name... which my leaky brain couldn't place for the life of me!

[identity profile] askye.livejournal.com 2004-08-04 07:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! Yes, I remember bugging someone -- "Is Theo here? oh she's in her room." "Do you think she's coming up soon?" Then I said Screw it! and went down to your room because I couldn't wait.

And then I didn't spend as much time with you as I wanted.

Met in the Hellmouth Cafe online. Still haven't met IRL.

You convinced me to spend some time at the Buffistas board at WX.

Thank you.

Just like Dan: we met on the HMC. I, however, have never ventured into Buffistaland. Thought about it, but never done it.

I need to get back into HMC.

Buffistaland is an interesting place...

Yes, what Darth said.

Yep! I see you on AIM all the time and ... I'm pinging you tonight (if I'm on and your on and...)

I pimped the buffistas board to a lot of Hellmouthers but you and ling and Windy were the only ones who took to it.

B.org if not one of the prior incarnations. Not sure if we've met IRL, but I half-suspect not. Of course, my memory's pretty lousy for such things.

Um, was it #discourse?

I have the feeling I knew *of* you before that. From Sentinel fandom?

[identity profile] elke-tanzer.livejournal.com 2004-08-05 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
I have no idea... Stargate? Ultraviolet? ConneXions? *is daft*

[identity profile] byob-kenobi.livejournal.com 2004-08-05 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
#discourse, definitely!

Wow. I'm not certain. Seems like it was something to do with DS_flashfiction (?). And then we friended each other. Right? And that's when I really got to know you.

Yes, so helpful when someone answers this meme and has basically no answers, right? *G*

b.org, then the DC F2F. You've seen my leather kilt in person.
