I watched part of the English Patient before Survivor last night. It's been on my Netflix queue for awhile and -- Naveen Andrews! (okay he's got a small part, but whatever).
I don't think I'll finish the movie. I kind of liked it, but not really the flashback parts. Kirstin Scott Thomas does nothing for me as an actress and I don't think she had Ralph Fiennes had good chemistry. (I may be crazy). Or, well, they did have sparks but I couldn't see the whole "omigod! lust!love!" thing. I wanted to kill Willam Defoe from the minute I saw him, but I think I have a residual hate on from Boondock Saints. What I did like was Ralph Fiennes and Julitte (however you spell it). That I could get and it was interesting. And Naveen Andrews -- his full stop comment when Ralph was trying to get him to read Kipling had me snickering all night.
I'm trying to figure out if I should finish watching the movie or not bother. I left it where Kristin Scott Thomas's husband saw her going off with Ralph Fiennes.
so should I watch more of it or just leave it alone?
