the coworker's friend thing

Well, he called me and we're having dinner Sat at 7, at the place in the mall across from the movie theater. We talked some and it looks like we don't have a ton in common. We talked about movies some, I threw out that I'm not fond of chick flicks, love sci fi, westerns, movies with explosions and drama. My tastes in comedy are weird, I didn't get into that. So he's talking about the movies he likes and comes up with The Notebook, Sleepless in Seattle and some other movie. Chick flicks.

He also expressed belief in Nostradomus and the Bible Code.

Still going to dinner, hope it goes okay. But it's right across from the movie theater so I'll probably see Sin City afterwards.

Have fun! Even if the guy likes chick flicks, here's hoping the date keeps you interested & entertained.

You know, maybe the chick-flicks are just camoflage. Maybe he wants to impress you with how sensitive he is, so he doesn't admit that his favorite movies are Anaconda II and Die Harder.

Now, the Bible Code thing.....that's kind of hinky.

I thought maybe he was going for the sensitive thing, but we'll see. I'll test him out tonight and talk about the new movies I want to see. Sin City!

I find it hard to believe that he really likes chick flicks. But, then, I find it hard to believe that anyone does.
