Quick SGA question

Totally first season --

I'm confused about the personal items rule. I thought it was 1 personal item only, but John has a copy of War and Peace, the tape of the football game, and I'm assuming the popcorn. So, I'm confused.

Yeah, they don't seem to be very consistent with that. I always assumed that they were given a certian amount of either space and/or weight instead.

I've seen a couple of stories run with that idea. It seems kind of silly to just allow 1 personal item. I know they didn't know what they were getting into, but with the whole thing being a possible one way trip you think they would have allowed them a bit more. Not a lot more, but more than just one thing.

Yeah - cause it isn't like they are going on Survivor. And John has the poster of Johnny Cash and just... it has to be more than one item.

I forgot about the Johnny Cash poster. A weight limit seems to be the most logical limit than a size limit.

Did Weir say something about War and Peace being John's one personal item or one of his personal items? I'll have to go back and watch. darn.
