(no subject)

I watched some tv tonight. I tried to watch the DaVinci's Inquest, but I got sucked into Gilmore Girls and also the season finale of NCIS from last season, I hadn't watched it before and wow. Really great ending.

I tried to watch Bones, but, um, obviously I was watching other stuff. David looks good though. He needs to be in a comedy or something where he can act goofy. He does goofy well.

On to the spoilers! House and Gilmore Girls.

GG first. OMIGOD! Luke and Lorelai are so cute together! Especially Luke rambling on about the house and kids and Lorelai all sleepy and they are so great together.

I have to say I'm a little, conflicted about the whole Lorelai and Rory thing. First, it's her daughter and she should be there! But also, her parents shouldn't have done that and I think I can understand why she'd feel betrayed by them and probably Rory. Also, When Rory told Prais she was an adult and on her own all I could think is OH MY GOD! NO YOU ARENT!! Paris! Call her on it damnit!

Even Logan thinks you should be in school Rory. Being a slacker is not in your nature. Seriously.

House! Cameron just... she needs to be sanctioned. Seriously. When she was hugging her patient, after lying to her for --- how long??? I wanted to beat her over the head with House's cane. What she did was cruel and horrible. Just because Cameron feels bad and doesn't want to do that to patients doesn't give her the right to dick around with their lives. Besides, she didn't know that her patient had no one. The parents are dead and no siblings but that doesn't mean no friends, no one close. Maybe we were supposed to think the poor woman was all alone, but that's no excuse to lie to a patient because Cameron's too emotionally fragile to tell someone they are dying.

The main plot was more intersting than I thought it would be. I missed most of House last year so some of it was lost on me.

Finally NO MORE HALLELUJAH! I swear it should be banned from tv. Yes, it was Jeff Buckley's version, which I love. But swear to God. No more.

I've had a headache since 7:30 or so. I've taken something, I've drunk lots of water and still a headache. God I don't want to go to work tomorrow either. Or Thursday, it's going to be the day from Hell Thursday.

I'm so with you on the Hallelujah moratorium. It's like there's only one song available for the maudlin montage.

MSNBC or some news channel showed a montage of Katrina aftermath with Rufus Wainwright's verison of Hallelujah.

I really love Buckley's version of the song but the media just has to pick something else. There are a lot of songs out there.

OMG SO with you on the "Hallelujah" ban.

Absolutely!

It's just incredibly lazy on the part of the music director (or whatever the title is.)
