Went to the library yesterday and paid my $.30 fine and was able to renew Starsky and Hutch another time. Which is good because I need a tiny break from the show.
But while I was there I got sucked into checking out Cracker, but I did manage not to rent the season of Buffy they had or a season of TNG. I try really hard not to check out series because you only get a the dvds for 1 week and it's hard to watch 22 or so episodes in a week.
This weekend I went and returned an over due book but didn't have any cash so I couldn't pay my fine until yesterday. However, that day I ended up checking out Chicago and Cocoanuts. I watched Chicago and now I'm trying to decide if I want to watch the commentary. Cocoanuts will be the first Marx Brothers movie I've sat down and watched.
I also checked out more cookbooks. I'm frustrated by my choice in one, it was a slick looking book like a coffee table book and I should have known that it would be one of those with fancy recipes or ingredients. I didn't look at it until I got home and I read the introduction where the author talked about how the recipes are easy to make and not complicated with easy to find ingredients. But then he goes on to mention that he lives on an organic farm. So his idea of easy to get and mine are different. When I looked at the recipes many of them reflect the idea that it's easy to get a variety of organic and really fresh produce. I'll check it out though and see if any of the recipes are doable.
Still haven't finished Right as Rain, I keep getting distracted by that. It's good but I have't been in the mystery mood lately.
Also checked out several cds: Lifehouse, Sade, Moby, and two compliations -- Heartland: an Appalactian Anthology and Folk 'n' Hell New music from Scotland , which is "scottish traditional meets the modern age."
