It looks like Tropical Storm Alberto won't be that much of a storm. At least not here. We are finally getting rain.

However I bought the wrong batteries for the alarm clock and there's no way I'm going out this late to try and find what I need. All I can hope is that there is no power outage tonight.

Carolina won! Wednesday will be Game 5 and possibly (hopefully) the last game of the Stanley Cup. Then no more hockey. Sigh. Originally I was rooting against Carolina, but now I want a Southern team to win.

The local evening drive guy, or at least one of them, predicted a 4-1 result before game 1 was even played. I doubted him, but I have to say it's not looking as unlikely as it was. It's been a pretty good series so far, though I have only caught the highlights.

It has been a good series. Some people are mad at a few calls, but then this is sports. Edmonton has done amazing considering they barely made the playoffs and then lost Roloson. After he went out there were plenty of "just go ahead and give Carolina the Cup" comments.
