Urban Legends evolve
I saw this posted as a comment on youtube --
In 1945, a young girl named katu lata kulu came over to America in a grey boat from Africa. A mysterious man killed her by cutting the word "LATUALATUKA" into her back. now that you have read this message, she will come to your house on a full moon and steal your soul unless you follow these directions:
1. Retype this message as a comment for 3 other videos
Why the spirit of a girl killed in 1945 would be haunting youtube is beyond me.
Also, when I was younger Bloody Mary would freak me out, even though I knew it couldnt' be true there was a small part of my brain that would scream "WHAT IF IT'S TRUE AND YOU DIE!!1!!!!" so I never would.
I don't think I could ever be young enough or stupid enough to think that someone is going to haunt me for not posting comments on youtube.

Two possibilities spring to mind:
1. Everybody loves youtube--and unlike me, everyone in the spirit world has broadband access!
2. It's advance marketing for a horror movie.
