I officially registered for community college. I'll hear something from them in the next week or so. The deadline is August 1, cutting it a bit close.
Oh how things have changed, I can go online and look at the class schedule and see how many slots are available for the class. The class I want to take (a 1 hour class) says you need permission and is also work at your own pace. I looked at a couple of the other classes I have to retake (which being 3 hours are more expensive) and the times are weird. Plus the classes I was looking at as alternates are during the day only, a couple during lunch time. Which kinda sucks, since even though my supervisor and big boss would be entirely fine with me going to school, since I'm basically a receptionist there's no way to really make up the hours I would lose.
But it will all work out, I'm sure of it.
My long term goal is to be a librarian. The first part of that is to get my AA and transfer, probably to the local university, but who knows. Then get a degree in something, I guess Information Science, and then get a MLS. But the very first baby step to that, not even a step really, more of a baby practicing pulling up, is taking this Fall class.
