I had to put my beloved kitty Anna to sleep on Friday it's been a hard week but I knew she was sick and this was coming.

It's hard not having a kitty, another life in the living space even if I know she's just sleeping. So I started looking, I was going to give myself a week, but...well I fell in love with one of the first cats I petted --

I was looking for an affectionate fluffy lap cat and decided that whatever cat I got would have a fannish name --

She's coming tomorrow and it will just be a trail fostering until I'm sure it's right for both of us.  Which I'm sure it will be.

She's supposed to be a very snuggly cat, and while I love Anna the term "lapcat" did not fit her. I'm looking forward to watching tv with her on my lap and seeing if she likes being on my lap when I'm at the computer.

What a lovely cat! Not sure where they're getting "short hair" in the description, though. Look at that fluffy tail!

She's more medium hair. The fur on around her head and tail is long, but along her body it's shorter.

If she's not too skittish I may try to get some pictures of her tomorrow.

Tentative yay! I hope that the relationship works out for both of you. I love kittens as much as the next person but adult cats, and especially adult cats with anything at all "wrong" with them, go unadopted all too often, and I'm so glad that the two of you met each other. Keep us informed, please.
