What's the first fandom you wrote fic for?

The first fanfiction story I ever wrote was Punky Brewster. I kid you not, there was some contest about sending in a story idea and I knew I'd never do that but I wrote a story for Punky Brewster anyway.
But, actual serious fanfic, Xmen Comicverse

What's the most recent fandom that you've written fic for?

Smallville

What's the title of your first fanfic?

God knows what I called my Punky Brewster story, but the XMen deal is "Grief".

Does it suck beyond the telling of it?

Punky Brewester:Hell yeah it sucked, I was like 9 yrs old.
X Men thing. Well, it works as better as a stand alone vignette, complete fails as fanfiction. But it was an experiement. It's up on FF.net with the rest of my stuff.

Is it slash or het?

Punky was gen. XMen was sexless slash. Although the way it was written it could be gen. Like I said, it was an experiement. I broke a cardinal rule---I wrote a story after only reading fanfiction and not reading/watching the source material. I mean, I have read X Men comics but I hadn't recently.

What was your first 'ship?

Okay, here's my big confession...I'm not really a shipper. I'm not really into the fic for pairings so...um....god...I used to scour the Internet looking for good Keiko & Miles O'Brien stories. Yeah, totally canon, totally gen. And this was during/after I started reading slash.

What's your fave 'ship now?

Okay, fave ship now is Fraser/RayK. I haven't even SEEN the last 2 seasons of due South, I'm trying to figure out a way to get tapes, but I like the stories. Also Clark and Lex, but Lex and Whitney are pretty interesting.

What 'ship(s) makes your eyes bleed and your loins turn into monkey guts?

Dawn/Anyone, Giles/Buffy, Willow/Spike--I was burned by too much Willow Sue. Lex/Lionel. Troi/Worf. Dylan Hunt/anyone.

What is your most common fic pairings?

I guess Clark and Lex, although in two of the 3 stories featuring them they've been broken up by the time the story takes place.

What pairing did you swear that you'd never write, but eventually did?

Haven't gotten there yet.

What pairing do you swear you will never, ever write, even if your favorite character promised to make sweet love to you in their crypt/hotel/van/haunted apartment/prison cell/flat if you did?
Dawn/any Scooby/adult figure in her life. If I started writing Andromeda I'd never write Dylan with anyone.

What's the wackiest fanfic situation you've put the characters in?

I havne't done wacky, I don't know if I could do wacky.

How many times has magick solved/created the main problem/plot in your fics?

Not yet

What pairing do you hate to admit to actually indulging in, against your better judgement?

I'll admit to reading anything, I have no shame. I can't think of any weird pairings--oh! Clem/Buffy. I read it on a lark, I didn't go looking for it. A pairing I've gone fic-hunting for is RayK/Turnball.

Can you remember the first fanfic you ever read?

Hell no, I can barely remember what stories I read last month.

How long have you been involved in internet fandom(s)?

Okay, I was involved in the Highlander NG a few years back (97? 98?) and read fanfic, but wasn't really involved in Fic then. My computer died a horrid death. It was sad. Then I got back into fandom/fic reading about 3 yrs ago, but only as spectator. Full participant only...let's say a year?

Ever written a crossover?

Not yet. I'm a slow writer.

Best crossover fic you've read?

Smallville/Buffy ala FayJay

What pairing do you want to write, but don't think you could?
In a non romantic sense, there are a few characters I don't think I could write; but a two characters I'd like to write and don't think I'd ever be able to get the voices down for are Joe Dick and Billy Talent.

Oh they so are. But don't get me started on my Lex/Whitney theories, I'll be here for hours *bg*

Oh! I'd love to hear your theories! IM/email me sometime. I never mind talking about my favorite characters or my favorite shows.

I used to scour the Internet looking for good Keiko & Miles O'Brien stories.

Eww, het. -I mean, have you read Blue Champagne's Keiko/Miles/Julian series (starts with "Identity Crisis" and "Diamond Wall")? I'm something of a M/J shipper, despite there being almost nothing written for the pairing -- I guess people figured the subtext was close enough to text they didn't need to bother -- and you'd like the series, I think.

I have a complete set of tapes for dS seasons 3 and 4, but where are you again? I can lend or (given time) dub copies if your VCR and mine are compatible. No one should be deprived of the slashy goodness that is RayK.

Yes het, no I haven't heard of that series, do you have a link? I didn't get into fanfiction because of subtext or even romantic pairings, I got into it because it was an extension of the show I was watching. In fact I didn't see subtext a lot of times... I was blind, but now I see. LOL.

I'll send you an email with my information.

Aaaiieee, eeevil eeemail!

Oh, wait. From you, it's okay. (Who, me, Email Issues?)

No link for the K/M/J series, but if you can't find it by searching -- I've no idea if it's still archived where I found it or elsewhere -- I'll forward along the txt files I have kicking around my 4-year-old zip disk of 'fic I can't bear to lose to the vicissitudes of site hosting failure'.
