Evil laughter. We have sucked you into LOP, my pretty. Evil laughter. See, I knew if I just kept nagging and nagging eventually people would get tired of hearing me bitch and just read the damn thing. Yay!

Is it not awesome? Is AJ Hall not a genius? I'm convinced that it's either a pseudonym for a published author, or she's an editor or something. The woman is THAT GOOD. And if she ever writes original fiction, I will so be buying it. Of course, she may already. I've heard rumours that qauite a few authors and screenwriters have written fanfic, but are very careful to protect their offline identities, because while production companies probably aren't going to bother suing anonymous internet crazies, they might sue somebody who has an offline profile.

WHere was I? Ah yes, LOP. AJ Hall says she has a prequel coming out September-ish,w hich should fill in some of hte gaps, like how Neville and Draco got together, how they wound up as partners after Draco and Narcissa switched sides, how the allies got Neville out of Azkaban that one time, how Snape managed to be a double agent all through Recent Events and not get killed, how they wound up on that Indian Ocean hideaway, that kind of thing. Can't wait for it, personally. IN the meantime, why not join the insanity and help us cast the imaginary LOP movie?

There's a dearth of good HP fic, alas. Polyamorous Recs and Te's recs page have a few good ones. Draco Malfoy the Amazing Bouncing Rat is a funny one, although I wouldn't call it great literature. Another good one is Torch's Spirit of Brotherhood, for which I will post a link as soon as I find it.

I admit it. After all Fay's gushing, I finally went and read LOP, and somewhat to my dismay, LIKED it. Much respect to the author.

But I still dont' want to read any Harry/Snape slash. Hmph!

Eewww! Hey, I just ATE. You're not the only one whose acid reflux is triggered by Snape/Harry slash, you know.

You know this serves me right for not reading all the responses to my LJ posts and posting the same thing mulitple places. I just raved about Harry/Snape. Trust me--I was all--no no! I shouldn't like it! but then, I did. It was, it was....and then there's the part where they've been together decades and it's...well sorry if I put anyone off their dinner

Yes, AJ Hall is a genius! A prequel Squee! I did read her other HP story, on oh..what's that site, the main HP site I assume. Very good, with Draco and during Recent Events. I'll have to think on the casting and go looking at pictures of lovely British men. oh, darn.

Also, just finished reading a lovely series, Harry/Snape...nothing explicit, very well done. Which I thought "oh, I don't know" but I dipped my toe in and it's Telanu's (http://remembrall.slashcity.net/~telanu/harrypotterslash.htm) Tea Series. Do read it.
