I'll just cut to the chase...
Wes was so damn hot...mmmm.. Wes getting dressed, Wes opening the closet to reveal Justine in chains. My jaw dropped. Go Wes! Although when he found Angel I wanted Wes to feed Justine to Angel. I was really hoping Justine would die somehow. She isn't going to change, she's just going to go after Wes. "I'll take away your bucket" doesn't have the same effect when she's running free.
How far Wesley has come since his first appearance on Buffy. Wonderful change.
Cordy is bored! Thank God. Now if she'll just come back to Earth and not be in love with Angel I'll be a happy, happy camper.
It was good to see Lilah getting ahead without running scared first. I was worried she was going to get all weak again and then she cuts off Linwood's head. Another DAMN! Moment. And Gavin is so her bitch now. Grovel Gavin Grovel.
I thought some of the hallucinations went on a bit too long, but I liked Lorne hallucination. I'm wondering what's up with him in Vegas, I want him back.
I like Connor. He's a sullen yet deadly teenager. Fred was awesome, except when she was telling Wesley that he didn't care anymore. But I guess she's just hurt and angry. I mean she could have tazered him.
This was so so much better than the finale. Stephen DeKnight did a great job.
I think I'm one of the odd people because I'm so much more emotionally involved with the characters of Angel. Now,it's not that I don't love Buffy, because I do but it's a different kind of love. I wouldn't want to miss either of them but...I don't know. It's a tie with Angel having a slight edge because I find more of hte characters engaging.

I was just saying that to a co-worker this morning. I loved Wes last night! And we were both reminiscing on the Wesley Wyndham Price of Buffy and comparing it to who he is now. Yowza! They totally made me fall in love with a character I didn't really care all that much for before. Especially considering I was all bitter when Doyle died.
And the feeding the blood thing, that just rocked. Esp. from a slash Angel (and honestly I was never really into Angel slash) because it reminded me of Buffy and her feeding herself to Angel when Faith left him for dead. I loved how he responds to Fred. "I'm fresh out." Squee! I love Wes!!!

Cut to Sunday night....Wes, slightly scruff, with that great haircut, lying naked in bed after fucking Lilah. Then going to the closet, where he'd chained and gagged Justine.
There is a huge difference. And much sexier. I mean, Wes of old looked like someone you wanted to mess up and show him the world. Wes of today...well he knows the world well.
I'll just go off and drool now...
Mmmm... Wesley....
Sigh.
I'll have you know, this is what it felt like in Seattle when grunge broke.
