askye at 12:20pm on 20/11/2002Buffy, Buffy, Buffy!! It rocked, it kicked ass. I have faith in Joss. I feel the love. This is the Buffy I know and love. Holy Fucking Shit it was an episode to love and cherish. And to scream and holler over.
Spike and Evil DopplerGanger Spike... JM can act. I was hoping beyond Hope that Buffy would stake Spike because look---there's an extra! Except no one can see extra Spike and that's a damn shame. But JM is getting better at doing crazy. And god, when he realized what he'd done. And Anya! I love Anya. She was so good in this. Soulless Spike would have had me upside down and half way to happyland by now. Whee!
I love Anya. And Xander was great. And everyone was COMMUNICATING. Which is just amazing in and of it's self. Except Dawn, but I can deal with that.
And GILES. Sweet baby Jesus. GILES!!!!! What a cliff hanger.At one point I checked the time and thought "10 til? Where the hell is Giles? Is he going to show up at Buffy's at the last minute?" Giles! Here to save the... Giles behind...GILES!!!!
I love an episode that has me screaming and hollering, even if it's in my head because there are other people in the house and I have to behave.
And I probably won't be able to watch on Tuesday! The agony.
