askye at 06:53pm on 07/01/2003I am officially a student. WHEEE. And I didn't kill pimply stupid boy who practically yelled "You're OLD!" when I said I graduated in '92. I wanted to smack him. I'll get you back you stupid child. You bitch one more time about the stupidity of the Computer Basics book and I will prove to you that, yes, people in the Real World use those terms.
So vo tech school is a bit like high school. But the best thing is it's work at your own pace. So I can work at my own pace right out of there. Anyway YAY School.
Checking out audiobooks to listen on the drive to and from school was the best idea. Especially Oscar and Lucinda Ralph Fiennes has the best voice. Very yummy. And he does the voices for the other characters really well. Even the women. Unfortunately it's abridged and I started listening to it when I rented it, so it's almost finished. I'm not sure what I'm going to get next, but I'm hoping to find something that is good and unabridged.
What I really want is a tape recorder, so if I can talk out story ideas. I always get story ideas when I'm driving. I need to work more on this original piece I've got going, maybe try it out as poetry.
