1) Do you like your name?
It's okay, I mean, I'm not all happy happy joy joy about it. I keep thinking I'll start going by my middle name. But my first name isn't that bad.
2) What do you like best about it?
It's not too common, most people can spell it, somewhat, there are variations and frankly I don't care if you spell it the exact way I do as long as you don't spell it some freak ass way like Allyysson (which I swear to god I've seen).
3) What do you like least about it?
It doesn't jump out at you. I'd rather have something that would warn a person "hey! slightly goofy/strange person ahead!" although maybe not with the warning is good.
4) If you HAD to change your name (witness protection program, whatever), what would you want it to be?
Well, not my middle name. I'm not sure. I mean the names I like change all the time. Well the one name I like is my grandmother's except an alternate spelling, but I really wouldn't chose that. Actually I almost picked it as a fic name. Ha! I can see writing slash under that name, my poor grandmother. I don't know, something that doesn't look like me--- Evie. Or Astrid.
And while we're at it..
What does your first name mean? My name is a version of Alice, which is a version of Adelaide, which is a version of something else, which means noble and kind.
What does your middle name mean? I'm named for a place, I don't know what the place name means.
What does your last name mean? Have no clue, it's misspelled to begin with, we only know my great grandfather's name and after that we know nothing. My great grandmother and he divorced, she remarried and never spoke of him. Google didn't give me the love, however I did find the correct spelling of my last name used as a first name for a character in a fanfic. Which is amusing.
What does your name mean all together? Noble, kind, place, who the hell knows. It has a nice ring to it don't you think?
What would you have been named if you were the opposite gender? Knowing my parents I would have gone 3 days without a name like my brother, they were pretty sure I was going to be a girl. However, I did come close to being Michelle Leanne. You think I look like one of those?
Any other name oddities? I don't go by Ali in real life because it rhymes with my last name. Mom calls me that however, she's mom she can get away with it. I do sign most of my email with Ali, I'm odd. Um, if I marry a guy with the last name of S I can use the initials ASS if I want. Which I may do because...ASS! Well, I find it amusing.
