Collected Thoughts

I'm sucumbing to Stargate, finally. I watched Monday there was a cliffhanger, I'll have to start taping since I go to dance between 7:30-8:15. Also when Senator Loudmouth was bitching about Stargate I was yelling at the tv "Send him through to the Gou'ald!" and then when he got all self righteous-y on Teal'c I was really hoping Jack and the rest would just haul the jerk's ass down to the Stargate, dial it and shove him in. Whoops! we meant to bring him back!

When I react to a show like that I have to admit I'm sunk.

Also I keep forgetting when the new season is on, I'll have to make a new schedule to keep by the tv.

I wish I had Tivo.

Also Highlander is now on TNN (soon to be Spike) everyday 5 pm EST.

I'm torn between taping, because, really I do NOT need to be taping anything. Really.

I owe people tapes and mail that I've put off because I fucked up my budget and couldn't afford to the postage.

But I look at it this way---it's almost summer hiatus. No Buffy anymore ever. Angel will be on hiatus. Boomtown's already had it's finale. So I'm set. Right?

The worst is about two years ago I had most of Highlander on tape, taped from USA. Except, of course, I threw it out in a fit of "my god I don't have room and the quality probably sucks and I'll never watch Highlander again."

Then I discovered fandom for real. The addictive, talk about it, write about it, obsess out more than one fandom. Hello slashy goodness fandom.

So now I'm starting over at square one.

I guess I'll tape Highlander.

I don't know what I'm going to be watching next year in prime time. Boomtown, Angel and CSI. Something good better premeire or I better get sucked into a new show...no scratch that I did not just say I wanted to be sucked into watching a new show.
