I'm all registered up for next quarter. But I couldn't get my check because I left my wallet at home (stupid me) I'm going tomorrow to get it. I have to drive to the other side of town later today and I don't want to drive that much.
I'm also baking brownies later today to take to my friend E. I have to call her and tell her she needs to go register ASAP.
The stupid ass school, which is doing several stupid ass things for the new year, is sticking all the new accounting students in with Legal Secretary. Accounting is popular so she needs to register if she wants to make sure there's a slot.
The big Stupid Ass Thing is the schedule. In order to make the school schedule more like a work week (this is a technical school remember) we now have class from 8:00-4:00. Monday-Thursday.
Name me a job where you get Fridays off.
People skip a lot on Fridays and also people have a lot of appts and stuff. One of the rationalizations was that students with children in day care wouldn't have to put their kids in day care on Fridays. Everyone who has a child in day care said that was just silly, they'd still have to pay.
Supposedly we were given a survey to make comments on it and our opinions would count. However, I don't think that was the case at all. My instructor said their minds were pretty much made up.
I don't really care about the schedule except I don't really see how it reflects the work week.
