Collected Thoughts

Hermoine annoyed me in the other Harry Potter books as well, it's just that reading OotP it's really fresh in my mind. I didn't read the last book right before I read this one.

On a fandom level I sort of feel like I should like Hermoine but I just don't. She's just annoying. I like Ron and Neville. I hope Neville grows up to be a stronger character.

I hope Hermoine gets taken down a peg or two.

I'm not so sure she's a Mary Sue. I mean, yeah she knows a bunch of stuff---or thinks she does---and she can figure things out. But Mary Sues, from what I've read, aren't usually obnoxious about their oversharing.

Or, at least they are written where everyone likes them and no one is ever really annoyed with them. Harry and Ron seem to be frequently annoyed by Hermoine.
