LUSH

My Lush package is due to arrive tomorrow. I know this only becuase I emailed Lush on the 18th telling them I hadn't received word about my order and were things alright. I got a nice email back with my UPS tracking number and they said that the automated email would be sent shortly from Lush.

I never got the automated email but I've been tracking my package through ups.com. I assumed that the automated email had been cancelled. When I went to the Lush website I wasn't able to track my Lush order but I wasn't sure exactly how that all worked.

Tonight I get the automated email telling me my Lush package has shipped, my tracking number, complete with link to the Lush site. My package actually shipped 8 days ago.

This hasn't exactly inspired a lot of confidence in the company, I really really hope I like what I ordered especially after the build up of everyone loving Lush.

When did you order? My order took 2 weeks, which made me impatient, but it was well worth the wait.

And WHAT did you order?

You *should* like what you ordered! I really hope you do.

I understand that it takes about 2 weeks, but I thought I'd get a confirmation email that my order had been shipped some time before the day it was due to arrive. The order shipped on the 11th I think, I didn't get the email saying it shipped until yesterday.

I ordered 1 Butterball & 1 Waving not Drowning Bath bombs, Slammer showergel, Antiphiltron shampoo which when I looked to see how it was spelled it wasn't there and oh I see on the forum it's discontinued, I hope they sent it because none of the other shampoos sounded the appealling and I only bought a small amount becuase I wasn't sure if I'd like it, Veganese conditioner and Ambrosia shaving stuff.

I know Trudy loves Slammer -- I sent her some for her birthday -- and I've heard RAVES about Butterball and Waving Not Drowning.

I have to say that I really love Lush and I usually get pretty quick delivery, but I also live 3 hours from the Canadian border. (quick is relative...7-10 business days is pretty standard, mostly because of customs issues) If I'm desperate, I can always drive to Vancouver. *g*

I hope you like your Lush stuff...I love the things I use from them. Potion lotion, Angels on Bare Skin facial cleanser and Slammer shower gel are my favorites. And I used the Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bug to sparkle on stage when I did my cabaret show in July. Love Lush...I hope you do, too!

I ordered the Slammer shower gel and the Antiphillon shampoo amoung other things but the shampoo is discontinued, I hope I don't totally fall in love with it. I was looking at the bottled shampoos they have and I don't like the selection so hopefully they'll introduce more or one of the solids will strike my fancy.

I love Slammer. It's fantastic.

I have some American Cream conditioner that I got from them that I don't like (my hair tangles so much and is so fine that my conditioner needs are very specific), if you want to try it I'll send it to you.

I love their Karma solid shampoo. It's beyond wonderful.
