askye at 03:58pm on 04/10/2003I went to Highland Games and Festival, lots of bagpipes and men in kilts. Mostly cute men in kilts, but my friend E accidentally got a look at some old guy's family jewels. He sat down and adjusted his kilt with his leg spread. She said it was a horrid sight and we had to go track down the beer tent to make it better.
But we went, we ate, we sang and I got a bumper sticker that I love that I'm sure will annoy my mother. "Up your kilt." It actually goes nicely with my other bumper stickers. I heard a great band but wasn't willing to fork over for their cd and forgot to buy one of their bumperstickers.
I ate overpriced food but did manage to skip the over priced limited selection of chocolates and candies. I don't know if there were more available earlier. We got there about half way through the day and got a great parking place. When we left there was about 45 minutes left officially and there was still a line of cars to get in.
I need to take a shower, I'm debating on whether or not to use my remaining Lush bathbomb.
