I'm tired, I should be in bed. And I'm sore. I need to do some stretching.
E told me about the cardiokickboxing class she goes to, it's given by the Parks and Rec Dept. I went to try it out. Damn I'm out of shape but I did better than I expect. It was a big class, not sure how many but the instructor came over a few times and helped me out with my form and said encouraging things. I'm going back.
In all my foolishness I thought "oh I can do this and still make it to dance class." HA! The focus in the cardio class was on legs. My legs are so sore. Tuesdays are the intermediate dance class so tonight was 45 minutes of one dance, no chance to rest focusing on learning a combination of steps.
Mondays and Wednesdays are beginner classes and they just cover the basic step, which I can do so it's not much exercise.
Anyway, I'm going back Thursday. At some point I'm going to have to get new athletic shoes, I realized today that my Nikes are ancient, it's been so long, I'm not even sure where to go to find a good but not expensive brand. Or what they should feel like or, well, anything really. I guess I'll have to go looking. And I need a rather cheap sports bra.
