I went to the farmer's market aqnd ended up buying white acre peas. Then I realized I'm not sure how to cook them. Does any one have a no meat way to cook them?

I just sat down to finally watch disc 2 of Alias, ready to see how the episode 3 cliff hanger ends, and I opened the envelope and out fell half of the dvd. Cleanly broken in half, I know I didn't do that. The dvds go from the mailbox (attached to the house) on to the dvd player or tv.

So no Alias until they send the replacement. And now I'm slightly out of sorts and not sure what to watch now.

This cracks me up, becuase "fuck" is part of a family joke. Back when my Other Mother's kids were in elementary school one scolded the other over the use of "doo doo". Saying "We don't say 'doo doo' we say 'poo poo.'" (or the other way around).

When Mom told us this story (we were in high school) my brother immediately shot back "We don't say doo doo, we say shit!" Which totally cracked Mom up.


Some how this morphed into "We don't say 'shit', we say 'FUCK!'"
