I just sat down to finally watch disc 2 of Alias, ready to see how the episode 3 cliff hanger ends, and I opened the envelope and out fell half of the dvd. Cleanly broken in half, I know I didn't do that. The dvds go from the mailbox (attached to the house) on to the dvd player or tv.

So no Alias until they send the replacement. And now I'm slightly out of sorts and not sure what to watch now.

Oh man, I hate it when that happens. But, you know, better that than the dvd stopping halfway through the movie because of a big old scratch. Then you have to wait until they send a replacement to even finish watching! They've been really good about getting a replacement to us fast, though.

Iv'e had that happen to me before. I watched Ronin instead. Well most of it, I have to mute/fast forward through the Sean Bean parts because he's character just makes me cringe.
