(no subject) [Collected Thoughts]

Last night the power went out in the middle of the second period of the
Tampa Bay at Vancouver game. There were penalties for fighting (if I'm remembering this right) so it was 4 on 4 and Vancouver scored just seconds into it. And then there was no power. I was pissed because during the first period something similiar happened and then Tampa Bay answered with a goal.

So when I stopped watching the score was 3-2 Tampa. The game went into overtime! And Vancouver beat Tampa Bay. Damnit!

Also since Tampa is my team by default I'm going to have to read up on them. I'm starting to recognize players names.

I was SO psyched last night! I got home in time to see the very end of the Wild/Blackhawks game, and that was great becasue it was the best part. The Wild got TWO GOALS IN THE LAST 17 SECONDS.

Oh, and . . . it doesn't surprise me that there were penalties for fighting during a Canucks game. :)

One of the things I like about hockey is the fights. There aren't many in football and when there are it's all "bad sportsmanship" comments from the announcers and how the players should be better than that.
