It's so hard, honey, I know. And the only thing that makes it worthwhile is recognizing how much you don't hurt when you give up a food you love--or at least one that's always been a staple. Potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, onion, cucumber and eggplant for me. Cukes and eggplant I can do without, even peppers and onions--but tomato sauce is in everything. And giving up potatoes is *hard*!

But if it works, you'll find alternatives, and you'll get used to the way you eat, and how much better you feel. I hope you get there soon!
