askye at 04:53pm on 21/02/2004I got a new computer desk. I'd link to a picture, but Staples's website sucks and I can't find mine on the site. I can't look by brand because the computer is still in Mom's SUV.
She's bringing it over tomorrow or sometime this week so I have to make room for it. It's pretty basic. Light pine color, tri level. Pull out keyboard tray. Then a work area and then a place for the monitor. The legs arch out and there's nothing under neath. I'm so looking forward to this. Right now my "desk" is just a folding table with a tilted tray thing for the keyboard. I picked it up at a consignment shop . There's no place to put anything, and it's starting to bow in the middle from the weight of the monitor.
I looked at a couple others but they all had shelves and stuff underneath and I like to stretch my legs out.
Also I went to Best Buy and drooled at computers. I've been very very good and never tempted myself with what I couldn't affor but now that I'm working again I can't help but go and take a peek at prices and things like that. The place I'm temping at right now has flat panel monitors and wire less keyboard/mouse set ups. I'm getting spoiled working with that all day.
