I know it's not the point of your post - but I LOVE Silverado!

Does the DVD have any extras?

You know I haven't even opened it, thinking I'm going to take it back becuase I shouldn't have spent the money but it was $11 so I'm keeping it. The only real extra is a making of documentary. And there are production notes and there are subtitles in : English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai.

Plus it's in widescreen.

I wish there was a commentary. I love commentaries. Unless they are boring like the one on Plesantville.

Oddly, I have only really listened to commentaries as part of my LOTR obsession... Though the commentary to the Godfather I & II are 1/3 interesting, 2/3 boring, I still listened to them while doing needlework.
