When Spike first started talking I was a little worried because it's been brought up a few times this season but it worked out when they ran down everyone who's died. I can't remember if they mentioned Darla. Death is the one thing that doesn't keep you down in Jossverse, it only sidetracks your life a little bit.

I'm hoping that Fred is truly dead though.
