askye at 01:56pm on 30/04/2004I found out that if I keep it quiet I can play music at my desk (I'm the receptionist so my desk is out front. But really, no one comes up here. Oh and I answer the phones a lot, but that's what mute is for).
I meant to talk about Angel. I didn't tape it, because I was lazy and well I downloaded the last two.
So about Time Bomb---
Wes first. Wes is so broken...it was shocking to see him in his office, surrounded by those books, and scuttling back and forth, hunched over. My first thought was the reminded me of an insect...except not really. It's hard to describe, but he seemed so broken and about to fall over the edge of sanity. AD did a really great job.
AA also continued to do a great job with Illyria. Her movements are so...alien. I got a great sense that Illyria's power and exsistance was trapped inside a vessel that was too small and too unnatural (for her).
Plus I got to see Spike dusted...even though it wasn't what I wanted to see.And Spike and Wes working together...it's kind of surprising to me, but then Wes and Spike don't have the history that Wes and Angel do, I would have liked to see the conversation about how they figured things out.
