I finally watched last week's Stargates.

Except for some reason I thought Krista was setting up Teal'c so I ended up fast forwarding through most of their parts becuase I didn't want to see Teal'c being led on.

Then I just started fastforwarding in general and I missed whether or not Daniel ever told anyone in SGC what he translated. I guess I could have rewound but...eh.

YAY for Sam ! Although I'm really sure what's his name will be toast.

I can't remember what everyone's reaction was to last week's Atlantis but I liked it. BECKET!!! Heee, I think he's great. This really wasn't the ending I wanted for Steve the Wraith but, I couldn't figure out how they were going to keep him. I kinda whish he'd been around a while longer so I could keep calling him Steve the Wraith. I bet Ford would have just called him Wraith 1.

Weir confused me when she invoked the GEneva convention, because I'm pretty sure there are rules against letting your prisoners starve to death. I could understand why she wouldn't want to experiement on a Hoffan but to get all prissy about Steve the Wraith seemed like a big contradiction.

I'm also confused about how the Wraiths work, how many people do they cull? I didn't get the idea that that many of Treya's people were being culled.

Poor Beckett!!!! :: sniff ::

I haven't watched this week's yet.

The thing on the culling seems to be that the Space Vampires (or, um, Wraiths, as they prefer to be called) can go a very long time between feedings, basically sleeping until they get hungry, at which point they descend on a given planet and gorge themselves silly. This happens less often than once per (human) generation, and IIRC has meant up to half the population being culled in a few hours.

The SG:A team has interrupted this slow cycle, and pissed them off in the process (hey, everyone's grumpy when they're rudely awakened, right?), and it seems they're gradually rousing themselves. The Wraith are, though, very patient by human terms, and seem to be taking their time in massing a large force.
