I was reading through various rec sites last night (and reading various stories) and it hit me.

I want to read het.

watches all the slashers move way

Some het. Also odd ball pairings. Like I don't want to read Thatcher/Fraser. Or well Thatcher and anyone. Although Frannie getting some would be good to read.

I got stumped on what het pairings I'd like to read...because...well...I don't have any het pairings that I really like. And not just het, really hot sexy het stories.

Frannie/Turnbull. Or if anyone knows any really good Frannie/Ray K (I'm not sure that really exists).

Anya/Xander

Turnbull/Ray V (not het but oddball)

Janet/Daniel

Teal'c Daniel

Cordy and anyone but Angel.

Really that's it. Not that much het really. I just get these cravings and I went looking on my own for some Stargate stuff but ran into some iffy stories.

As someone who wants to read some good Sam/Teal'c and has been having fun with Hermione/various males I do understand what you're coming from. And yeah, it's usually the odd pairings in het that attract me (although some would argue the same is true of me and slash *g*).

Have you found any good Sam/Teal'c?

At some point months ago I went looking for Daniel/Teal'c and didn't have much luck. I just ran into this really bizarre story where Daniel ends up having sex more with the symbiote than with Teal'c.

I haven't found a whole lot of either, although quercus has some Sam/Teal'c bits around edges plus at least one story. I have yet to find a really satisfying Daniel/Teal'c story. I'd really like to because it might inspire me to get off my butt and finally do a Daniel Teal'c vid idea that's been in my head since 2001. At this point I think I'd take any well written Teal'c/whoever NC-17 fic. Actually, a nice threesome or foursome would be lovely, too. The jaffa is hot and never seems to get laid in the fan fic.

Oh there is a passing Teal'c/Janet bit in one of Goo's stories. I could probably find it if I hunted.

The Seduction of Samantha Carter is Sam/Teal'c and there are some implied bits in others, like at the end of The Grave Yields Back Her Robberies (which is basically nice, warm J/D -- not a bad one if you personally are in need of a vacation).

http://www.sg1hc.com/archive/4/rainon.html is just plain silliness by Goo, but there is a tiny bit of Teal'c/Janet (and just about everbody else in the SGC with someone). There's just enough to make you go, "Damn! there needs to be more of this!"

skye, check back in DS_Flashback when I was reccing. I posted a couple Turnbull/Vecchio and Turnbull/Frannie recs... or at least one of each. Actually, there were several odd pairings in there. :D If you can't find it, let me know.
