Collected Thoughts

I'm at work doing nothing ! Although there are things I could be doing because -- tomorrow's a holiday and I swear no one is here. okay boss was here but now she's gone. My supervisor called earlier to get my recipe for Sausage Breakfast Casserole.


6 slices of bread, crusts cut off and buttered on one side

1 lb bulk sausage (pork or turkey)

6 oz of shredded cheese

6 eggs beaten

2 cups milk (or half and half)


Put bread, butter side down, in 12x9 pan. Brown sausage and crumble it up while cooking. Drain very well. Layer on top of bread. Sprinkle cheese over that. Mix the milk into the beaten eggs, add salt and pepper if desired, ladle over everything evenly.

The original recipe says to refrigerate over night, pull out of fridge 15 mins before cooking. I didn't do this, found out Mom's never done this.

Bake at 350F for 45 minutes uncovered.


I was reading some Stargate fic and drabbles the other day and realized there are huge holes in my knowledge of SG. I've seen some episodes multiple times, so many, that I know most of the details, and there are many I've never seen. Plus I haven't seen a lot in order, although I can kind of place episodes by the actors hair styles.

I do have one question -- I don't know the details of Teal'c getting tretonin...so I'm not sure how it worked -- does he still have the pouch thing? If he were to run out of tertonin could he acquire a symboite and use one again?

Also is Nyan ever mentioned again? Because I liked his episode and I think they should have gone back and mentioned him at least once, something in passing so we know he's adapted okay.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also everytime I hear the new version of Word Up! I keep thinking it might make a good Stargate vid. Or maybe I'm just weird.

I need to sit down and watch massive amounts of any show so I can write something again it's been way way too long.
