I got MI-5 from Netflix. The first disc anyway. I haven't watched my tapes an awhile but I can tell the difference between what A&E showed and the actual shows. I ended up watching the deep fryer scene three times, I listed to the commentary during that section and it was interesting. I'm wondering if that section was cut a bit or if I'm not remembering all of it.

And then Tom huddled in the corner of the safe house waiting for Zoe...it's just wonderful. In a painful way.

I also watched disc 3 of Dead Like Me. It's not the best thing to watch when I don't want to go back to work. I hate knowing that there's only a few more episodes of season 1 and then season 2. Of course I may end up doing what I did with Sports Night and just not watch the final episodes.

And xmas was good to me. I have enough to ge ta computer RIGHT NOW!! I went to Best Buy with my brother yesterday to look at them. I found one that, with the rebates, is extremely affordable. Plus I can take the rebate money and get a larger hard drive to add and a flat panel monitor. Sam's had both for reasonable prices. I'm torn between doing that and looking around at Dell or ebay and try to get a better deal.

So I'm torn. Wonderful computer that works now!!! Or see if I can get a better deal in a bit. Part of me doesn't want to get stuck with a low end model like I did last time. But I also know more about computers and I think it's easier to upgrade things now than 5 yrs ago. Or whenever it was that I got the computer.

Keep in mind that rebate money is very slow to arrive. You might want to check Consumer Reports or somewhere to check a computer manufacturer's reputation with rebates. Or, of course, ask on LJ.

You have to subscribe to consumer reports online to read anything. I'll have to stop by the library on the way home from work and see what information they have there.
